About Us
Washing Equipment of Texas "WET" was established in 1988 by Bob and Caryn Lye as a sales and service organization serving the San Antonio, TX area for industrial cleaning equipment and associated detergents. The company quickly expanded into renting industrial pressure washers specializing in self-contained, hot water pressure washers, trailer mounted systems, and systems that may include wash water recovery.
Washing Equipment of Texas has continued to grow with industrial cleaning products as its core competency. Our customers rely on us to supply and service them with industrial grade equipment. We are faced with demanding service duties and play a crucial role in maintaining very expensive capital investments ranging from a pick-up to the largest of heavy construction equipment, from cleaning a parking lot to cleaning an oil rig, from cleaning nuts and bolts to cleaning tractor trailer rigs.
Washing Equipment of Texas is the largest distributor in the Southwest of the largest manufacturer of wastewater treatment systems. Washing Equipment of Texas, the company, has almost 20 years of wastewater treatment systems integration experience. In addition, Washing Equipment of Texas’ systems integrators have 100 years of accumulated experience in design, construction, and maintenance of such systems. Environmental regulating agencies recognize our ability to design and build a “green” wash facility. When a “green” wash facility is installed, we award that organization with our coveted “Green Earth” certificate, which our customers proudly display as evidence of their commitment to promoting environmental health and their associates’ safety.
Washing Equipment of Texas, to date, has five, full-service locations, each autonomous with parts, detergents, and machine inventory. A total of thirty field trucks are dispatched daily from our offices covering Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Northern Mexico.
